Introducing Yubarta, a serene wellness sanctuary exclusively available to guests of Cayo Levantado Resort.
This property is located on an island in the Dominican Republic and has received guests since June.
Yubarta, named after the type of humpback whale that breeds in Samaná Bay between January and March, is an innovative space for self-discovery. During their time there, guests will embark on a regenerating experience, allowing them to have a healthier mind and body while relieving stress.
Here are some of the available experiences for visitors:
- Ideally located: Yubarta is in the most vegetated and quietest space on the island to provide the right atmosphere for healing and self-knowledge. It features wide open spaces, cenotes, an aerial yoga room, frozen water pools, an atelier for artistic creation, and even a hidden cave with healing crystals.
- All-around wellness: Palapas in Yubarta are different sizes, representing whales’ evolutionary stages. Each palapa accommodates various techniques, including aerial yoga, meditation, vibrational sound therapies, and shamanic cleansing. The element of water is constantly present in the sacred cenotes, which host various innovative activities, such as sound therapy with underwater Tibetan bells.
- A journey of self-discovery: Available options also include the Wim Hof method, conscious breathing, astrological readings, and more. In all, there are 25 techniques encompassing mind, body, and spirit.
