On the heels of being named the top resort in North America by the World’s 50 Best this year, Mandarina, an oceanfront jungle kingdom nestled in the mountains and forests of Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit, announces a new amenity that will further elevate the destination’s residential and hotel experience: a 10-hole golf course designed by the world-renowned golfer and designer, Greg Norman, who also designed LIV Golf Course El Camaleón, located at Mandarina’s sister property Mayakoba in Riviera Maya.
Mandarina’s new golf club will open in 2025 in the Flatlands, the 10-acre valley between Mandarina’s mountain peaks already home to racquet sports facilities and the Mandarina Polo & Equestrian Club. The course will feature a concept never before done by Norman, with each hole inspired by a famous par 3 hole from around the world. Mandarina guests and residents will feel like they’re playing Pebble Beach, Augusta National and Royal Melbourne for an incredible golf experience unlike any other, and I wanted to pique your interest in covering this exciting news.
