Happy New Year! This winter, the award-winning wilderness resort Big Cedar Lodge is celebrating 30 years of one of the Midwest’s top wine experiences, Celebration of Tastes. The event, which was first series of its kind in Missouri, continues to bring world-class wine producers to the scenic Big Cedar Lodge for a weekend of wine, fine dining, and outdoor adventure.
From the first toast at the Bass Pro Shops Shooting Academy to the final toast at the historic Worman House Bistro, guests won’t want to miss a moment of Big Cedar’s 30th Annual Celebration of Tastes on February 9-10, 2023. Participants in the weekend-long celebration of wine will enjoy a kickoff event on February 9th at the Top of the Rock End of the Trail Wine Cellar featuring small bites, wine tastings, a silent auction, and live jazz music.
On February 10th, guests are invited to immerse themselves in the aromas of Orin Swift Wine with Founder Dave Phinney, as he walks them through a sampling of three distinct wines and shares the evolution of Orin Swift, which is recognized as one of Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Winemakers. The weekend culminates with a Five-Course Orin Smith Wine Dinner at the recently revamped Worman House Bistro and will feature live music, food and wine pairings, comments from Host Dave Phinney, and more.
