Santiago, Chile — (April 17, 2024) — Valle Nevado, South America’s premier ski resort, announces the 2024 winter season kicks off on June 21 with a new on-mountain dining experience, signature events, and free skiing for all kids 12 and younger.

In 2024, Valle Nevado will expand its culinary offerings by adding its ninth restaurant, El Montañés. Accessible via the resort’s six-passenger gondola, the new on-mountain dining experience pairs mountain-inspired foods with Chilean wines and stunning views. Additionally in 2024, and as an extension of its recent partnership with the Power Pass and Mountain Capital Partners, Valle Nevado now offers unlimited free skiing and snowboarding for all children ages 12 and younger, no purchase required or blackout dates.

Valle Nevado, or “snowy valley” in Spanish, boasts the deepest and most reliable snowpack in the Southern Hemisphere, receiving over 240 inches of snowfall annually. Valle Nevado’s Heli-Ski operation, organized through the National Heli-Ski Association of Chile, offers full-day excursions with four to six heli-drops and half-day packages with two to three runs, each averaging 4,000 – 5,000 feet of vertical drop.
This winter Valle Nevado will operate daily from June 17 through October 6, with lifts running daily from 9 am until 5 pm, followed by Valle’s legendary sunsets and après scene.
