GREENSBORO, Ga. (March 27, 2024) – Reynolds Lake Oconee continues to enjoy tremendous success with each release of lakefront, lake access, golf, and wooded homesites in its Richland Pointe community, located between Richland Pointe Village and the soon-to-debut Tom Fazio-designed golf course, Richland.
Since its inception, homesites, custom homes, and cottages in the Richland Pointe neighborhood and Richland Pointe Village have been in high demand. The planned new property releases indicate continued signs of positive growth, with additional homesites and cottages becoming available as the year progresses.
The community’s hub is Richland Pointe Village, which boasts a 160-seat restaurant with a 52-foot wraparound bar offering lake views and an eclectic menu with global influences. A full-service spa and state-of-the-art wellness and fitness center are in an adjacent building. An outdoor event lawn fronts the lake and two magnificent infinity edge pools seem to fall off into the lake.
Richland Pointe was designed to be easily walkable and connected with the water.
“We like to say it’s ‘where you can truly park and toss your keys away,’” said David Short, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Sales, and Strategic Planning for Reynolds Lake Oconee. “Richland Pointe offers a different kind of lifestyle and experience within our community. The architecture and community design recall simpler times in some of America’s most beloved coastal and lake destinations—all just a short drive from Atlanta.”
Richland by Tom Fazio
Richland—which opens later this year—seamlessly blends nine new holes with the existing Bluff nine from Fazio’s National golf course with adjacent land distinguished by a creek, large natural boulders, and an existing pond. The land slopes gradually down toward a cove of Lake Oconee with more than 100 feet of elevation change.
Most of the fine grading and shaping is complete, along with the construction of greens, tees, bunkers, and irrigation. Grass is being installed this spring to begin the grow-in phase.
The addition of Richland will give Reynolds a total of seven championship courses, created by a pantheon of modern architecture, including Fazio, Jack Nicklaus, Rees Jones, Bob Cupp, and Jim Engh.
Marina
In addition to the golf course, a new full-service marina—the community’s fifth—is debuting this summer, allowing members easy access to get on the lake, as well as visit the Village by boat for a meal or to spend a day at the spa and the pools.
