Huntington Beach, California, otherwise known as Surf City, USA, has such great surfing waves that it has been chosen to kick off the 2024 Olympic Surfing Qualifying circuit. From September 16 – 24, Huntington Beach will be welcoming the world’s best surfers to compete in the World Surfing Games, where they will vy for their chance to participate in the 2024 Olympics.
The event kicks off with an Opening Ceremony on September 16, and the games continue until the final rounds on the 24th.
For travelers and locals alike, the events are free to attend and can best be viewed from the Huntington Beach Pier or the sand.
