Hotel guests will feel like a million upon entering The Westin Los Angeles Airport (LAX).
The property recently completed a major $45 million renovation – everything got a total makeover except one pivotal space… Until now!
The newly re-designed and renovated Westin Club Lounge had its grand opening last week. Key updates include:
- New location + modern design on lobby level
- Expanded to 2,600 sq. ft.
- New state-of-the-art coffee and espresso machines and self-serve wine bar
- Open daily for hot breakfast
The new Westin Transform Tea connects guests with the hotel’s recent transformation (and the transformation of Los Angeles as a whole). Inspired by the endangered El Segundo Blue Butterfly, this white tea blend begins as a vibrant blue color and, by adding citrus like lemon or lime, watch as the tea color transforms from blue to purple. Sip to enjoy delicious tropical, grassy and sweet notes with medium caffeine.
As business travel picks up post-pandemic, The Westin LAX is adapting to meet every type of traveler’s needs – most recently adding a surf concierge, Topgolf Swing Suite, and coming soon – a spa partnership TBA. ????
Rounding out a busy first half of 2024, the hotel added two new team members to its staff. Kareem Shaw is The Westin LAX’s new Executive Chef – formerly Executive Chef at the Hotel Shangri La and Chef de Cuisine at The Langham Hotel. Jacob Luna is The Westin LAX’s new Senior Marketing Manager based remotely in Hawaii – formerly Marketing Manager for the MxM Marriott Select Brand Field Marketing Team.
