- Eighteen hotels and resorts have received recognition from the MICHELIN Guide, showcasing the area’s commitment to unique experiences and high-service standards. Among the top contenders, Hotel Esencia in Tulum has earned three MICHELIN Keys, celebrated for its beachfront bungalows and organic spa rooted in ancient Mayan traditions.
- Additionally, two properties have made it to the prestigious World’s 50 Best Hotels list: Maroma: A Belmond Hotel (#18) and Hotel Esencia (#48).
- Playa las Perlas has become the first fully inclusive beach in Cancun, featuring new accessibility equipment and facilities for disabled beachgoers. Three wheelchairs, two aquatic chairs, two aquatic beds, and two aquatic walkers and mats are now available to visitors, in addition to accessible palapas, wheelchair friendly bathrooms and other structural improvements.
