Nobu Barbuda, set on the stunning crescent shaped Princess Diana Beach, has become the “must do” day trip for those staying on Antigua and beyond. The restaurant and beach club has introduced immersive new experiences for visitors to the Caribbean in 2024, who can enhance their trip with a dynamic day filled with culinary adventures, family experiences, relaxation and more.
Here’s what’s new at Nobu Barbuda this year…
NEW BOAT EXPERIENCE: Nobu Barbuda invites guests to experience a day-trip adventure on its private charter boat, starting with a snorkeling experience in the Caribbean Sea to see the colorful marine life that thrives beneath the surface. Guests will then enjoy a lunch of Nobu’s world-renowned cuisine and sip on the crisp notes of a bottle of bubbly while taking in the breathtaking views.
TREE BAR: A new addition to Nobu Barbuda this season is the enchanting “Tree Bar,” a rustic yet charming hidden gem nestled amidst the lush tropical foliage and pink sandy beaches of Barbuda. The Tree Bar invites visitors to sip on handcrafted cocktails, savor delicious Nobu cuisine, and enjoy the stunning sea views.
ENHANCED CABANAS: The cabanas at Nobu Barbuda offer guests an even more luxurious and comfortable beachfront experience. With stunning views and enhanced amenities, romantics will enjoy the cabanas for two outfitted with a hanging bed, and groups will love the larger VIP cabana featuring private dining, chairs, and a full living room for seclusion.
SUSHI MASTER CLASS: Nobu Barbuda invites guests to learn the craft of the perfect sushi roll under the expert guidance of the Executive Sushi Chef, with the clear Caribbean Sea as the backdrop to this immersive experience. Perfect for groups and families, guests will be seated at the new sushi bar overlooking the stunning ocean views for a hands-on workshop to learn the art of sushi-making, including techniques on sushi maki and nigiri and incorporating local items such as conch, snapper, spiny lobster and the famous Barbuda roll.
BESPOKE EXPERIENCES: Available upon request, Nobu Barbuda offers customizable experiences for multi-gen groups, making it the perfect destination for celebrations, reunions and more. Activities include:
- Sunset Omakase: an exclusive six-course Omakase and beverage pairing experience on Princess Diana Beach
- Japanese Beach Barbecue: an exclusive, reception style beach barbecue event, combining island and Japanese elements, featuring live entertainment and dishes including Robata yaki grilled fish and skewers, Nobu style local seafood Paella, passed canapes, sushi, ceviche and more.
- Lobster cookoff: Groups can snorkel to the chef’s lobster craw trap and select a fresh Barbuda spiny lobster to have prepared by the Nobu chef for a beachfront feast.
