New Menu at Bacaromi Restaurant – All Summer Long!
This Summer, Chef Luca Nania and his talented brigade will serve up a slice of authenticity at Bacaromi, a contemporary restaurant take on the typical Venetian bacaro (a simple neighbourhood restaurant, where locals catch up over cicchetti and a glass or two of wine). The new menu offers Chef Nania’s interpretations of Venice’s best-loved dishes, from handmade pasta and creamy risotto to the finest cuts of meat, all served alongside a carefully-curated selection of local wines.
Rustic, characterful décor evokes the welcoming atmosphere of a bacaro as soon as diners set foot in Baracomi, with antiques and curiosities adorning the walls and colourful mosaic tiled flooring. The original cast-iron pillars and exposed brick walls of the former flour mill conjure a sense of yesteryear while unique artisan lamps provide warmth and conviviality. During the Summer months, guests can opt to dine al-fresco on Bacaromi’s magnificent canal-side outdoor terrace.
Chef Nania has created a mouth-watering new menu, with signature dishes including: Selezione di cicchetti Veneziani, a typical Venetian tapas-style snack, Trancio del pescatore al forno con pomodorini e olive taggiasche, an oven-baked catch of the day served with cherry tomatoes and Taggiasca olives. Bigoli di pasta fresca in salsa Venezian is one of Venice’s most-loved dishes; this homemade pasta with Venetian sauce is prepared the traditional way – just like Nonna would! Guests of Bacaromi must save room to try Chef Luca’s Tiramisù – a traditional Italian sweet treat, perhaps paired with a dessert wine or Italian digestif!
A contemporary Bacaro where tasty “Cicchetti” pay homage to the pure Venetian tradition, guests of Hilton Molino Stucky Venice can now experience the new vintage atmosphere at Bacaromi while enjoying the panoramic view over the lively Giudecca Canal.
