22 March 2022 – Rendezvous, the boutique adults only all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean, sister property to BodyHoliday, is set to launch a dedicated month of wellness across the month of April (3rd – 23rd). Dedicated to creating connections through mindful wellbeing activities such as Tai Chi, yoga and meditation, professional fitness coach, Daniel Ryan, will be leading the programme. Increase your emotional bond with your partner with the help of excellent dining and an array of wellness activities, all in the secluded, tranquil luxury resort in St Lucia.
Daniel Ryan, PGA Golfer and professional fitness coach. Originally from the Gold Coast, Australia, Daniel has been an enthusiastic golfer from an early age, winning his first junior tournament at only 16 years old. His professional career, spanning over 20 years, has seen Daniel play competitively in many tournaments including the Canadian Open and the European Challenge Tour and enjoyed world class courses such as US Bay Hill (Florida) and Pebble Beach (California) as well as Gleneagles and Celtic Manor in the UK.
In more recent years Daniel has expanded his knowledge by gaining a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and qualifying as a Tai Chi instructor, all of which complement his golfing technique as well as enhance overall wellbeing in their own right.
What can you expect at Rendezvous Wellness Month?
Aside from a long list of wellness activities, Daniel will be offering a unique class for the Movement of Body and Mind. This inclusive 60 minute class being held 3 times a week, will educate guests in techniques to improve physical fitness, encourage beneficial movement and balance the body and mind. The class will incorporate elements of fitness, exercise science and the art of Tai Chi.
In addition to the Movement of Body and Mind classes Daniel will also be offering guests the opportunity of afternoon Pro Golf Coaching and Game. This package, for $450 for two people, will include a 45 minute golfing coaching session with Daniel followed by playing a relaxed 9-holes on local golf course co-hosted by the resorts General Manager, Lisa Gardner. Lisa is also a keen golfer having represented Jamaica in recent tournaments.
